Abstract
Most of the adolescent headaches are primary headaches, but if there is a neurological abnormality, severe headache over 1 month, or if medication does not improve the headache, it is necessary to differentiate the secondary headaches. One of the secondary headache cause, optic glioma is one of the common brain tumors in juveniles and adolescents. Symptoms vary depending on the location of the lesion, but headache and visual field damage are the most common symptoms. Most cases of optic pathway gliomas are growing very slowly so headache and visual symptoms tend to progress slowly. So watchful observation can be an acceptable choice. Here, We report a rare case of optic neuroglioma with rapidly progressing headache and visual field damage.
